What

Panera Bread is proud to present the 6th Annual Westminster Panerathon 5K & 10K to Fight Hunger with all proceeds benefitting Food Bank of the Rockies. Everyone celebrates at the finish line with fresh bagels, pastries, and sandwiches from Panera Bread and fun for the whole family!

7:45 a.m. – FREE Kids Fun Run for aspiring marathoners 12 yrs & under
8:00 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk
8:00 a.m. – 10K Runners only, please

Where

Panera Bread at The Shops at Walnut Creek – 10450 Towncenter Drive in Westminster.

5K/10K Race Course

View the NEW 5K & 10K courses for the 2012 Panerathon.
 The 5K course is nearly 100% paved. Walkers, runners, single strollers and well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome. Approximately 4 miles of the 10K course are not paved. Runners only and no strollers on the 10K course, please.

Registration

Register online at Running Guru through Thursday, September 13.

In-person registration will be available at the following running stores until Noon on Friday, September 14:

- Road Runner Sports in Westminster, The Official Registration HQ
- Runners Roost in Denver (S. Colorado Blvd.)
- Runners Roost in Lakewood

In-person registration (and pre-race packet pick up) will be available at Panera Bread in Westminster Saturday, September 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and race day beginning at 7:00 a.m.

Registration Fee

The 5K & 10K fee includes chip timing, event t-shirt, goody bag, and post-race expo complete with refreshments complements of Panera Bread!

  • ADULT (18-59 yrs): $30 Pre-Race, $40 Race Day
  • YOUTH/SENIOR (17 yrs & under/60+ yrs): $25 Pre-Race, $35 Race Day
  • TEAM OR COMPANY (10 people or more): Register 10 people or more for $20/person Pre-Race or $30/person Race Day. Contact us to learn more or register a team.

Panera Kids Fun Run

The FREE Panera Kids Fun Run will be an out-and-back DASH (approximately 1/8 mile) for aspiring Panerathon-ers 12 years and younger. The Westminster Fire Department and Colorado Rapids Mascot will lead the Fun Run at 7:45 a.m. Parents will be asked to complete a participation waiver in the event registration area beginning at 7:00 a.m.

Race Packet Pick-Up

Pre-Race Packet pick-up will be held Saturday, Sept. 15th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Westminster Panera Bread. Packets can also be picked up on Race Day beginning at 7:00 a.m.

Pre-Race Training Run & Clinic hosted by Road Runner Sports – Wed., Sept. 12 at 6:00 p.m.

Road Runner Sports in the Shops at Walnut Creek will host a complimentary 5K training run and "Running in the Proper Shoes" clinic Wednesday, September 12 at 6:00 p.m. To participate, please RSVP to Sam at Road Runner Sports by September 11.
